During my sabbatical in Argentina, I developed a fascination for the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As a project manager I experienced the enthusiasm of the teachers and directors of a school for children from the slums. I loved working on this project. It quickly became clear that the bureaucratic government continuously counterworked the school and it's ambitions. With help from the business sector, the school still managed to properly educate it's students. Fortunately, the European context is different. But still there are many opportunities for the government and companies to improve society. I therefore work with Roger Kaufman's creed: 'Let's create the world for tomorrow's Child "(with a little Argentine passion).
CSR also requires a different way of looking and various ways of organising. For me, embedding CSR in organizations is the biggest challenge for the future. With my capacity to connect people and themes, I strive to contribute. I am fascinated by new ways of organizing.
Within CSR Academy, I am an entrepreneur and Director of Business Development and Organisation. A challenging role in which I can put my ideas - of the organisation of the future - in practice and take my responsibility for a better world.
