My studies - environmental science, geography and my current PhD at Industrial Ecology RSM Erasmus University - stimulated me to learn more about the earth and its inhabitants. It fascinates me how people and animals share the planet with eachother and how we - probably the most intelligent species on earth - push the environment to the edge of the abyss. A cleaner and diverse environment for plants, animals and humans has been the central theme for me for the last 20 years.
My knowledge is broad on various topics, such as Industrial ecology, co-siting, eco-marketing, metropolitan agriculture, sustainable development and eco-entrepreneurship.
I have also experienced the business, social and financial challenges of a start-up environment-friendly and innovative company. In this I have practical experience and lessons learned about pragmatic aspects of CSR. I like to share this experience with other entrepreneurs.
As an active entrepreneur, I want to embed my knowledge and involvement into business processes and create new opportunities. This is Corporate Social Responsibility for me.
